Both trackers for the day are now out.  Neither show any change from yesterday.  The Obama convention bounce has been far below expectation, but McCain did not gain in the last few days either.

As reported earlier, Rasmussen has Obama up three.

Gallup continues to have Obama up six.

The GOP convention starts today.  Hurricane Gustav looks to be far less a threat than we'd assumed.  I suspect the convention will be back on track tomorrow.  The key event:  Sarah Palin's acceptance speech.  People are eager to see her.  If she hits a home run, it could have a clear impact.
